CEBU CITY CREATIVITY

I have mentioned my wish of being a ninja and that have been a wish when I was just young. Needless to say though, I have matured and have learned that being simply a ninja doesn't give you much, but a wealthy ninja will make the difference. Of course, a CEBUANO ninja would really sound cool. Especially the luxury of spending arms and ammunitions and further, not caring about the cost implications of it is very, very cool!

If remembered correctly, Batman studied ninjitsu somewhere in a distant TIBETAN mountain. It was there that he learned about the art and craft of what would eventually be the tool of Batman. So I was thinking that a CEBUANO Batman would not have the aura of coolness on to it, especially if BISAYAs would call it "kwaknit". Thus I am settling for the ninja format, cold yet oozing with elegance and fine mannered even in battle. And I was mentioning about the financial needs of running a ninja vocation. Of course, it would have to resemble that of Batman's but it wouldn't be called a Bat Cave rather a secret Dojo. A Dojo yet something that is far from being simple rather, one that would have all the high-tech gadgetry as what have been used by Batman. And hopping from tree to tree wouldn't be quite safe especially with all those cable wires all over CEBU CITY so I would have to a top-of-the-line mode of transportation be it either land, sea or air.

So there, those are just the initial costs of running a CEBUANO ninja crusade in this Queen City of the South. The cost would not be for the faint of heart but with the well-built muscle as the likes of Bruce Wayne. And all these costs doesn't necessarily have be sourced personally, there just might be someone willing to spend his pesos for a CEBUANO ninja crusade in this beautiful CEBU CITY.

THEY CALL ME GOLDEN DAGGER - FOR CEBUANO BLOGGING

I wanted to be a ninja, but not just a ninja-ninja, but a CEBUANO NINJA. How about that? I've always thought american ninja could have used some more realism. Not that I find being american and at the same time practicing ninjitsu was a bit weird, but criss-crossing hands before turning into a ninja had a basis. It would be better if they/he indeed changed clothes and should the well-built body. But then again, how would that turn-on the viewers. Sex and violence in movies yes, but not male exhibitionism.

And what about color combination. Yup, a yellowed-oranged dressed ninja looked vibrant on the screens, but who would dress that way. I'd prefer the traditional black colored ninja. Ninjas couldn't be all perfect movers and there could be days that they would just be plain clumsy. Stealth coupled with ninjitsu would help all that.

So where in CEBU CITY would be a great ninja hide-out? I don't know, maybe some high-tech but solace place in the South Reclamation Road? Is there anyone selling ninja stuffs in CEBU CITY anyways?

That is probably why I hold the pen name of GOLDEN DAGGER - a CEBUANO Ninja! How about that!

UPDATES FROM A CEBUANO BLOOGER

On my way home yesterday, I saw a group of people opposite CEBU Fuente Rotunda of what seems to be a protest rally. Traffic was unusually heavy yesterday, most probably it was due to VALENTINES DAY fever that swept the whole of CEBU CITY. Going back to the group that was gathered near Fuente, there only a handful of them and looked like they were there to hold a prayer rally rather than the usual confrontational rally. One room for improvement though was that they could have been more creative in showing why they were there. As a passerby looking at them, I somehow surmised that it had something to do with all the excitement due to JUN LOZADA's testimonies on the NBN-ZTE deal, it was however not clear on which side they were on.

And talking about that excitement, the nation's capital is planning to hold a "big" rally this afternoon at MAKATI CITY. It is to show support to the eyewitness in the ZTE-NBN DEAL fiasco and to call for President GMA's resignation. Quite a hectic day in MAKATI today and looking at it as a CEBUANO BLOGGER, I just hope they sure know what they are asking for. And this seems to be a favorite recourse in PHILIPPINE politics, calling for a President's resignation every now and then.

On the local front, finally something of an eye-opener for police scalawags in the CITY OF CEBU through the investigation of a supposed extortion attempt of a member of the CEBU CITY MANAGEMENT GROUP. That ought to teach these types of people that citizens are no longer afraid to stand-up for their rights and kick these corrupt officials where it hurts.

CEBU CITY Experiments is this blog’s title. Why? It’s rather because of my love for the City I have been born to and grew up with. Other than that, CEBU CITY is quite a good keyword to bank on to especially with such terms as TRAVEL, TOURS, RESORTS, FUN and LEISURE. One simply can’t have too much of the SEA and SAND and that is why I am promoting this beloved CEBU CITY EXPERIMENTS.
